The Day Is Finally Here!!!

After months of anticipation the moment is finally here!!

It was our last chance to sleep in, and yet we all woke up early! There was so much packing to do and lots of last minute planning!

Just after 4.00pm, Mum and Dad arrived to pick us up for the airport. We all piled into the car and made the trip over the hill.

When we arrived at Wellington airport a blast of icy cold wind hit us. We were all thinking not long until we can escape the winter for a while!

At the airport, it took us over an hour to check in. Apparently Titus was travelling all on his own, with no accompanying adult! After much fluffing around, the ticketer finally managed to sort our tickets out.

Uncle Garry and Aunty Leigh came to the airport to say goodbye to us. We all hugged goodbye and off we went to catch our first flight of the trip, and Titus’ first flight ever!

The first thing Titus went for is the screen (like father, like son!

The flight from Wellington to Auckland went smoothly. We then had to wait three hours until our next flight - Auckland to Hong Kong! In the mean time Lana and Mila made friends with some other kids catching our flight

At a few minutes to midnight we said goodbye to New Zealand and took off! Our adventure had begun.
